Several clubs have already visited for training in preparation for JWOC 2019, and in March and April there will be even more.
Morten Kjær is putting a huge amount of work into coordinating and applying for forest permissions, planning courses, setting out controls and fetching them in again.
In March the Danish juniors will be coming, along with a big group of Norwegian juniors, runners from Huskvarna in Sweden and a smaller German group.
In addition, in April there will be a small Finnish group, and both Belgium and Italy have indicated that they will be coming.
It’s great that so many want to come and see what the Danish Lake District terrain is like. We are grateful for the good collaboration we have with Naturstyrelsen Søhøjlandet – the regional forest authority – which manages by far the majority of forests we are using.
